My book readings this week



7 p.m. Sept.30,2011: Calamus Books, 92 South St. B, Boston, MA

6:30 p.m. Oct. 4, 2011: South End branch of Boston Public Library, 685 Tremont St., Boston. This is part of National Hispanic Heritage Month.

    Nice job at the book reading last night. It was great to see you in action. I might have to make a trip over to that bookstore to get a signed copy – unless you want to sign it personally for me at the Barnes and Noble in Braintree! I think you’re right when you said that’s what people enjoy about your books – the real places. I’m always at that B&N, I LIVE for a good hike in the Blue Hills, I’m often found at the Boston Market on Morrissey and I kinda wish the Baker Chocolate Factory was still a chocolate factory.

    I wanted to check out the blog since you gave it a shout out last night. I’m not sure how you find time to do it all, but keep up the good work. What other promotional work do you do for your books? We’ll have to think of some creative ways via Twitter to get the word out.
