Meeami (and Bahstan's) Top Shows

Basketball and telenovelas continue to dominate the summer ratings in South Florida.  Of note, 1.126 million people tuned into to watch the Heat burn the Spurs June 20, giving the ABC affiliate WPLG a ratings slamdunk. Telemundo's "La Voz Kids" (The Voice for Kids) was the highest rated non-sports program. The only other English language show to make the top 30 was CBS's "60 Minutes" which came in at #22 with 129,000 viewers for WFOR.


Here are the most watched programs in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale market for the week of June 17-June 23 in total viewers.

Over in Bahstan, the week belong to the Bruins which cupped (sorry) viewers for NBC affiliate WHDH-Ch. 7. And like Miami, the highest-rated non sports program belonged to NBC's "The Voice" followed by the peacock network's "America's Got Talent."

    I'm guessing "Big Bang" reruns will rank -- at least in Boston.
