Gay Latino website

About.com recently launched a site dedicated to the gay Hispanic community. Called gaylatino.com , the site highlights stories of interest to Spanish-speaking gays and their families. Recent entries ranged from "How do you know your son is gay?" to a guide for gay Christians. There are also entries about the recent gay June Pride festivities in Fort Lauderdale, the celebration of gay marriage rights, the difficulties some binational couples face in staying together in the US and how to help your children if they're bullied because they are gay. The site is managed and written by Daniel Shoer Roth, a friend and former colleague of mine at El Nuevo Herald, the sister publication of The Miami Herald in South Florida where he is a Metro columnist. If you are or know someone looking for gay-related news en espanol, please visit the site.
